Studio News
|
Spring has arrived and and my garden is taking on color and activity from birds, squirrels, rabbits and yes I have seen butterflies floating about. I do take time from my busy schedule to spend at least fifteen minutes out in the garden just to breath and refresh my soul. Sometimes we end up with such busy schedules that we tend to miss the daily growth outside and the beauty of nature God has given us. In fact as I write this newsletter I am reminded that today is Earth Day. I want to celebrate the earth everyday and treasure her gifts to us. I did receive a tiny treasure the other day while cleaning out my bird bath. I didn't see it at first because it blended into the background of the ceramic bath but there floating in the water was a Sparrow egg whole and unbroken. I love these kinds of finds and keep them in my studio in a treasure box. This little egg will be my daily reminder
of how precious life is.
As for studio news ... I have been so busy with graphic design since the Art and Wine Trail show that I have not been able to paint anything since. So after I'm done with the Bird Festival coming up soon I am going to have to take a new approach to scheduling my time so I can paint. Also I decided to send out my newsletter bimonthly. I think that will be a better fit with my schedule and producing art.

New prints and Etsy
|
Some of you probably already know I have an Etsy Shop now. If not then hey I have an Etsy Shop
. I wanted to provide another avenue to shop for my prints and some originals. Etsy is an online community to buy, sell and live handmade products. Right now I am featuring my three new prints Hope, Journey and Dream
. Printed on Fine Art Paper using pigment ink each of these new prints are 8 x 8 inches and are $25 each. Purchases are made through paypal but you do not need a paypal account. You do need an Etsy account which is free.
Prints are packaged in a clear bag with a hard backing for protection and will be mailed in a hard photo mailing envelope through USPS. Allow 3 - 10 days for receipt of purchase.
